Position Overview
Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Direct Bill Processor to join their team in Mesa, Arizona. This role begins as a temporary position with no specified end date, with the potential to transition into a temp-to-hire opportunity. Once training is complete, this position will offer the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule, allowing for work-from-home options 2-3 days per week. The role offers flexibility in setting work hours, with a starting time between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for obtaining and posting Direct Bill Statements.
- Process all download activities from internal software systems and other imports.
- Conduct manual processing of statements.
- Obtain statements from carrier websites.
- Coordinate with the direct bill cash receipts team to reconcile daily DB receipts against received statements.
- Perform daily reconciliation by carrier, detailing carrier cash deposited/received with total commissions posted in EPIC and total unposted.
- Execute daily reconciliation by carrier cash receipt, detailing cash received from carrier, commissions posted, and unposted commissions.
- Prepare a variety of commission analyses and reports.
- Participate in internal and audit requests.
- Manage statement archives as required by Internal Audit.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, customer/client focus, and teamwork to align with company culture.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of recent experience in Accounts Receivable.
- High school diploma required; some college preferred.
- Ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively, and meet set deadlines.
- Strong Excel skills required.
- Possess strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with excellent customer service abilities.
- Consistently achieve high work standards, with attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Demonstrate initiative and the ability to think, work, and ask questions when necessary.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to professionalism, accountability, customer/client focus, and teamwork.
Required Work Hours
Flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.

Additional Details
Pay Range: $21 per hour
